Free Resource Efficiency support for SMEs in Coventry and Warwickshire
Published: Friday 27th July 2012
Small and medium enterprises in Coventry and Warwickshire may be eligible for free Resource Efficiency business support under the new Coventry & Warwickshire Enterprise and Business Growth Package.
The Business Sustain team can now offer free Resource Efficiency support to small and medium-sized enterprises in Coventry and Warwickshire under the new Coventry & Warwickshire Enterprise and Business Growth Package, part funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
The project will help businesses to become more competitive in areas such as waste reduction, energy efficiency, environmental compliance and use of raw materials.
In the current challenging economic climate, many businesses are looking closely at ways to reduce their operating costs - by applying resource efficiency measures there are often significant savings to be realised.
Eligible businesses can benefit from two days of dedicated support which will be tailored to their individual needs and requirements.
Specific advice on how to reduce energy costs and reduce the cost of waste is available along with broader environmental management guidance. One of the funded services we can offer is an implementation and support of the environmental management system (ISO 14001).
Environmental training, such as spill response training or general awareness training is also available to eligible companies.
